1. Learn how learning works so that I can be become a better student and learner.
2. Learn how learning works so that I can be an effective teacher and have many different methods of teaching so that all my students can learn in their own unique way.
3. Earn a A in in the class by completing all my assignments effectively so that I may be able to remain on the Dean's list and earn future scholarships.
Describe your weekly preparation plan. Be specific. What will you do each day of the week to prepare for this course.
After looking over all the material and understanding what it the assignments are, I will go through on my calender and plan out when I can do each assignment. By doing so, I will be able to have all my work done and reading done so that I will be able to discuess in class each week.
Outline the study strategies that you will use to understand the material.
Get ready by previewing the material, then during my reading time I will set an amount of time to read for and make personal notes that our outlined good and with visual aids. After doing so I will make up Mnemonics and review my notes. Also, my favorite thing to do will be to bring up casual conversations with my peers about what I learned. By doing so I am able to explain what I learned to my peers or learn more from them if the by chance know much about the subject. This is a great way to keep the material fresh on my mind and place it in my long term memory as it is a topic I use in my every day social life.
Explain the process you will follow if you do not understand a topic.
Read over the instructions slower a second time and then if I am still confussed I will send out an e-mail to Prof. Cox asking my question. Then I will read over it again while waiting for a respone, in hope that the thrid time will be the charm and that I will be able to understand better.
